Job Description:

The Software Engineer will provide technical skills in developing automation and solutions for managing network services while working with engineering teams to develop tools that can help manage various network-based products and services used by our business partners.

The Individual must possess the ability to analyze and understand a variety of existing and emerging business requirements, interface with technology engagement teams as a fully seasoned and proficient solutions engineer, in providing best in class automation solutions that align to meet business and technology requirements.

This highly dynamic position will require the ability to manage multiple technical project engagements requiring the candidate to be a "team player" who can also work independently in managing multiple deadlines, priorities and diverse set of applications and requirements.

The ideal candidate will be a strong engineering minded individual with polished collaboration, written, and communication skills and a proven track record interacting with various levels of management, clients and technical team members in delivering technical traffic management solutions. Automate various Infrastructure environment. Knowing core technologies such as ADC, DDI, and Inventory Management. This position may in addition require occasional on-call level of technical support for high severity impacting incidents.

Required Skills:

• Experience doing software development with various coding languages such as Ansible, Python, Powershell, Javascript, CSS, SQL and various development software.
• Familiar with the Agile process and Automation principles
• Excellent problem-solving skills
• Database knowledge and experience with data structures and algorithms
• Familiar with DNS, TCP/IP, Network Routing, Network Switching, and Linux

Desired Skills/Knowledge:

• Load Balancing technologies, such as ADC (LTM, GTM)
• Products such as - F5 BIG-IP Local Traffic Manager (LTM), F5 BIG-IP Global Traffic Manager (GTM), AVI Networks
• DDI technologies - DNS (External & Internal), DHCP, NTP, IPAM
• Products such as QIP, Infoblox, Bluecat, Efficent IP, Akamai and various Registrars
• Work with Inventory Management tools, such as: Remedy, BMC
