Our Technical Sales Specialists deliver industry centric business solutions to clients of all sizes within the Financial Services industry.The Storage pre-sales specialist works with Storage Sellers and IBM Business Partners to determine customer requirements, create configurations and proposals, respond to RFP and RFQ's, lead Proof of Concept testing and follow through on sales post installation. You should be very comfortable doing presentations, and at the same time have the ability to apply hands-on skills. You must understand storage technologies, interact with clients to understand their challenges, and be able to position winning solutions.You'll also be responsible for navigating IBM to identify and acquire critical resources needed to develop the best solution for the client, while applying IBM brand strategies and offerings, methods and models, to ensure world-class design and delivery. Not only do our salespeople sell some of the world's most innovative IT and business solutions (analytics, cognitive solutions, cloud, commerce, internet of things, security, social, systems hardware, systems software or Watson health). they get to interact with clients in a wide array of fields. At least 3 years of experience in Storage Pre-Sales

At least 3 years of experience in Storage systems and SAN/NAS technologies

At least 3 years of experience in IT Sales, IT Technical Sales, Storage Administration, or Storage Product Evaluation

Preferred Professional and Technical Expertise

At least 5 years of experience in IT Storage Solutions Sales

At least 1 year of experience in Storage SW

Knowledge of IBM and competitive (EMC, NetApp, Hitachi, HP) storage products
