Responsible for the accurate storing, shipping, and receiving of product to meet company standards of safety, security, and production.

Hours - M-F 8:00A-4:30PM (Overtime as needed)

ESSENTIAL DUTIES

Load and unload freight in an efficient and safe manner.

Move product to storage areas with proper equipment and efficiently stack and store the merchandise in the appropriate area.

Pick orders for shipment and assemble various types of merchandise to be shipped. Sort, recoup, pack, mark, and label materials.

Operate materials handling equipment safely and efficiently as required.

Check or count freight for accuracy and/or damage.

Maintain a clean, neat, and orderly work area.

Assist in maintaining the security of the warehouse.

Participate in physical inventories.

Perform labeling, sorting, wrapping, packing, and repacking as needed.

Order trucks and UPS as needed for deliveries

Ship product from Manufacturing Software

Perform other duties as assigned by management.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS

Moving product which requires associate to get on and off equipment repeatedly throughout the shift. This requires bending, stretching, stepping, reaching, and stooping.

Load and unloading product manually or by using forklift or pallet jack

Performing warehouse duties which require sitting, standing, or a combination of both for up to eight hours.

Moving product that requires the operation of various machinery requiring eye, hand and foot coordination.

QUALIFICATIONS

Must have 1 year experience using Forklift to load and unload material from trucks and in shop.

Must have good attitude and willing to be a team player.

Must be self-motivated with great organization skills and able to multi-task

Great communication skills.

Ability to identify, locate, and disburse product which requires reading, counting, performing simple math calculations, printing product name and code on applicable documents.

Ability to learn technical material to accomplish necessary objectives.

WORK ENVIRONMENT

The work environment is very dirty. It involves risk or discomforts which require some safety precautions, e.g. working around moving parts. May require the use of protective safety equipment. During the shift when there is not sufficient work in your assigned job, company may require you to perform a combination of other functions based upon the facility's needs.

Job Type: Full-time - 1 week paid vacation after 1 year. 2 weeks paid vacation after 2 years. No other benefits offered at this time.
