The job of the Suite Nectar Salons Concierge is to ensure our business owners have everything they need to effectively operate their suites, as well as assisting any of their clients. These needs may include anything from arranging any necessary repairs to their suites (electrical, mechanical, plumbing, or internet access) to general questions. It also includes meeting tenants and clients walking in the front door, and directing them as necessary. This person will be the face of Suite Nectar Salons to both our business owners and their visiting clients, representing the Partners while providing support to the day-to-day operations of the location. The concierge is our first line of interaction with the health and beauty professionals and serves as our onsite proxy. "The concierge makes the impossible possible."

Work Qualities - The best candidate for the position of concierge is someone who truly enjoys working with people in a variety of situations. She or he needs to not only be well-organized, but also have the ability to multitask while keeping up with the details for many business owners or clients all at once. Those with a calm, easy-going nature do best, as the concierge is the primary point of contact for the business owners to ensure they are able to practice their craft as effectively as possible.

Specific Job Requirements - The following is a brief list of the primary job requirements for the concierge:

- Primary point of contact for business owners, potential business owners, business owner clients, and any contractors/repairmen

- Answer phones and review/respond to emails

- Coordinate the scheduling of any required maintenance efforts to ensure all suites are fully operational (electrical, lighting, plumbing, and/or internet access)

- Assist visiting clients to find their particular service provider, or possibly direct walk-ins to an available stylist

- Ensure facility is clean and properly stocked with the appropriate supplies

- Tour facility hourly to confirm cleanliness

- Ensure facility is secured during non-staffed hours

Experience - Previous experience in a retail or customer service environment is important to demonstrate experience working with the public or demanding business owners. Applicant should be a mature, self starter who can operate independently within established parameters to ensure the smooth running of their Suite Nectar Salon location. Effective time management and excellent communication skills (to the Partners, business owners, potential business owners, visiting clients, and contractors/repairmen) are must haves.

Pay and Benefits - Starting salary is $13 per hour. Initial schedule to be 3-4 days a week from approximately 10am to 4pm, or other hours as necessary. Days of operation are Tuesdays - Saturdays. This is a shared position so the initial total weekly hours will be in the 20+ hour range, with the opportunity to increase your hours based on proven performance.
