Immediate opening for 3 qualified individuals: GM Solutions is a corporation, Licensed general contractor facility maintenance company looking for three individuals to fill the position of a newly added handyman division in the commercial restaurant industry.
Qualifications: Individuals must possess the following skills. Lite carpentry, lite plumbing, lite electrical, lite wall repair and lite tile repair. A valid - clean drivers license is a must. IF YOU DON'T HAVE ONE DON'T APPLY. Professional positive attitude and clean professional look, you will be responsible for interacting with store management so the ability to articulate is important. The permanent position is for day work and occasional night shift work, five days a week. States you will be currently responsible for traveling in are North Carolina and South Carolina. A set schedule will be followed. You can expect a training period with a qualified tech for 3-4 weeks. Full time employees (after 90 day introductory period) are eligible for company subsidized health insurance, company shirts, per diem (if overnight stay is required), paid holidays and performance and production bonus at end of year. At full time employment a qualified individual can expect to start at $18.00 - $20.00 per HR ; depending on skill level. Overtime is paid after 40 HRS. Yearly evaluations are conducted along with performance and salaries reviewed by management.
NOTE : During the introductory period you will be expected to work with established crews to learn company protocol. During this time period you will be working both day and night shift, possibly out of town for up to 5 days depending on the project. We currently work in N.C, S.C, TN. , VA , and GA. During this 90 day introductory period you are responsible for transportation to and from home office in Concord, N.C. Transportation to and from project site is provided with travel pay included. You can also expect daily per diem for overnight stays, sleeping accommodations, your hourly wage and overtime pay after 40 hrs worked. You will be responsible for suitable work attire and hand tools (discussed at time of interview.)
