As we continue to grow, we’re looking for a motivated Laborer/Carpenter Helper who wants to learn the trade, grow with our team, and take pride in building structures homeowners love.
Position Overview
We’re looking for a reliable, hardworking individual to support our lead carpenters and project managers in daily construction tasks. This role is ideal for someone who’s eager to build real skills in residential construction, especially decking, framing, screened porches, and exterior carpentry.
You’ll get hands-on experience, steady hours, and the chance to grow into a carpenter position.

Responsibilities
Daily job duties may include:
Assisting carpenters with deck framing, demolition, layout, and installation
Carrying materials, staging jobsites, and maintaining a safe/clean work area
Using power tools (saws, drills, impacts) under supervision
Installing decking, railing systems, and trim
Loading/unloading trucks and trailers
Digging footings, setting posts, and helping with measurements
Performing basic carpentry cuts and tasks as you develop skill
Following directions, showing up on time, and working efficiently as part of a team

Requirements
Reliable transportation and valid driver’s license
Ability to lift 60+ lbs and work outdoors in all weather
Good attitude, strong work ethic, and willingness to learn
Prior construction experience is helpful but not required
Must be punctual, respectful, and able to follow safety protocols
Must be comfortable on ladders and uneven terrain

Experience with framing, decking, or exterior carpentry
Ability to read a tape measure accurately
Familiarity with cordless tools
OSHA 10 or other safety certifications
Experience with composite decking (Trex, TimberTech, etc.)
