Key focus areas include scope, budget, schedule, quality,risk management. The GRE team is responsible for real estate related projectsand the management of the portfolio of over 870 leased and owned propertylocations consisting of approximately 31 Million square feet.This role is also responsible for establishingor monitoring standards for furniture, fixtures, construction and movemanagement. This role may oversee ground up development for build to suite,general construction, and or monitor third party PM activities. Integralpart of the Real estate team; may transact deals or will provide keyinformation to lease transaction leader pertaining to construction costs andschedules.
Where appropriate do lease transactions.
Develop standards for space management,furniture, fixtures, and construction.
Identify and establish preferred vendors /contractors
Develop check list of move management
Work with business units to plan and executerelocation and upgrade solutions
Interpret lease contracts and provide solutionsfor facility issues
Negotiate with landlords on lease dispositionand surrender requirements.
Host construction calls, level constructionbids
Completing or assisting with the preparation ofRFP’s, AIA documents, permits, record documents, punch lists.
Negotiate work letters
Negotiate & Monitor landlord tenantimprovement
Oversee space planning and test fits plans
Specify, purchase and coordinate items outsidelandlord’s purview (furniture, technology)
Oversee 3rdparty architects,interior designers, space planners, engineers, contractors, PMs to constructrenovations and new facilities.
Develop and approve construction schedules.Track and communicate key dates.
Estimate construction activity costs
Contribute to and or develop business cases
Ensure compliance with Legal and EH&Srequirements
Utilize Project Management database to monitorand recordMaintain long term valued relationships withteam members, clients and colleaguesQualification Minimum Requirements:
10 years of experience designing,building, and implementing construction solutions. Significant experience inProject Management.
Critical Skills:
8 Years working in design,construction of large scale industrial and or distribution facilities
8 years of Project Management (i.e.drawings, leases, specifications contracts, funding requests, change orders,for real estate project management and transaction management
Additional Skills and Knowledge
