Work through and with District Managers, Training Store Manager, Navy HazMat Manager, Store Managers, the Sales Team and Human Resources department to ensure the smooth operation of Base Supply Centers. May supervise up to 2 direct reports. Manage all BSC contracts to include calls with the CORs and KORs working with the stores and DM’s to increase awareness and sales of the BSC. Manage the BSC assignment list and take the lead on the DLA initiative from the BSC side. Work with GSA and the FRC. Work with the Stores and HR to enhance procedures for expanding BVI employment at store level. Work with the Training Manager to develop a robust training program for BVI employees. Work with IT to improve accessibility to AX12, POS and BuyLCI platforms. Spearhead upward mobility opportunities for BVI employees through increased use of store business systems. Work with NIB on all required Monthly Reporting. Advance existing inter-agency relationships to assist with facilitating increased sales of LCI manufactured products. Support the GCS Army initiative. Act as Retail Division’s primary liaison with the Sales Team. Assist with and act as the primary strategic communications POC for the LCI, BSC program. Participate in developing the GSA COPARS initiative. Work through and with District Managers, Store Managers to ensure the BSC, Core assortments are accurate. Works with Managers to identify and determine appropriate disposition of nonsalable inventory. Monitors open sales lines, open purchase orders, age analysis and other essential AX reports. Ensures Managers are clearing issues in a timely fashion. Provides oversight for and assists with processing store annual inventories. Works with purchasing and vendors to expedite obsolete inventory return. Responsible for the BSC pricing team and the quarterly market basket. Interacts with Purchasing Department as required. Work with District Managers to ensure Base Supply Center Standard Operating Procedures are held to the highest possible standards. Works with the Product Development Team to identify sales driven manufacturing opportunities. Works with accounting to ensure that AP questions are responded to promptly and overdue AR accounts are actively worked to attain collections. Assists Accounting by providing reports required by auditors. Works with District Managers and Store Managers on CEP submissions. Provide input to District Managers on store managers’ performance for their annual reviews.QUALIFICATIONS:College Degree, with five years retail experience, preferably in a military environment. Extensive retail knowledge and experience working with the military, government and nonprofit agencies. Computer literate. Detail oriented. Strong cognitive skills, including problem analysis, decision making, financial and quantitative analysis, merchandising and inventory management expertise.
