The Autism Society of NC is seeking applicants for the position of Autism Supports Professional for a 18 year old female in Ahoskie, NC. Responsibilities include providing support and instruction in the areas of social skills, communication skills, and activities of daily living to allow the individual to achieve the highest level of independence and self-direction.
The hours we are hiring for are: M-F from 9-5 pm
*Applicants must have at least a high school diploma, be 18 years of age or older, have reliable transportation, and have current car insurance & vehicle registration.
*Must have access to computer & internet in order to submit online documentation & to complete online trainings.
*Highest consideration will be given to applicants who are willing to make a minimum commitment of a year.
*Experience with autism is preferred, but not required. Training is provided.
* Must be comfortable following Seizure Protocol.
*Applicants with a human services background/teaching background are highly encouraged to apply.
