Procurement Specialist / Runner needed in Morehead City
compensation: 11.50/hr
employment type: full-time, temporary
Minimum Qualifications: To include some or all of the following:
Good communication skills
Ability to prioritize duties and multi-task
Clean driving record
Valid State driver's license
Strong organizational skills
Reports to: Site Administrator/Project Manager
Position Description: Responsible for providing logistical support to a dredging project jobsite in accordance with Company procedures. Such duties include, but are not limited to, the following:
ª Purchase approved parts, supplies and consumables for job site, office, shore and vessels
ª Responsible for shipping/receiving and deliveries
ª Maintain a valid driver's license and a clean driving record for operating Company owned/leased/rented vehicles
ª Assist office personnel with organizational duties as needed
ª Must be capable of safely lifting packages and parts weighing up to 50 lbs.
Complete a pre-employment physical examination
Must obtain negative drug screen prior to hire and maintain throughout term of employment
Criminal background check is required for application
May be assigned additional duties in accordance with project needs.
