Diesel Heavy Equipment Mechanic

Currently, we are seeking applicants for a skilled Diesel Heavy Equipment Mechanic.
Special Knowledge/Skills:
Must have a thorough knowledge of complex mechanical repairs. Must possess strong leadership and supervisory skills and excellent work habits. Advanced knowledge of automotive diagnostics, repair and maintenance processes. Ability to communicate effectively (verbal and written). Direct, supervise and work in cooperation with shop personnel. Coordinate all vehicle and equipment repairs.
Job Duties & Responsibilities:
Supervise daily activities of vehicle repair and maintenance operation to ensure proper performance, repair and safety of all vehicles and equipment.
Maintain shop, equipment, and tools in safe operating condition. Perform various skilled tasks such as engine, hydraulic and electronic repairs on many types of trucks and equipment.
Order equipment and supplies and maintain accurate inventory.
Must own all basic tools needed to perform the duties of a construction equipment mechanic or truck mechanic.
Repair equipment in an organized shop and may perform, service and repair work in the field as necessary.
Must be a motivated individual.
Minimum Qualifications & Training:
3 years of experience in diesel engines and major repair/rebuild.
Must have a valid NC Driver's License and acceptable driving record.
Willingness to learn and be a team player.
CDL is a plus
