Ameri-Force has an immediate need for 15 Heavy Equipment Operators and 15 Electricians in Roper, NC.

HEAVY EQUIPMENT OPERATORS

Job Responsibilities:

Operate heavy equipment in compliance with the company operating safety policies and procedures.

Moves and position raw materials and finished components with use of material moving equipment.

Operate heavy equipment in a safe and effective manner in order to minimize the risk of injury, property damage or loss of life.

Ensure work area is free from any hazards, underground services such as pipes, wires, etc prior to beginning work.

Work in areas of uneven terrain and tight spaces.

Coordinate machine actions with other activities, positioning or moving loads in response to hand or audio signals from crew members.

Load and move dirt, rocks, equipment or other materials using various types of heavy equipment.

Candidate Requirements:

Previous experience in a construction setting.

Ability to deal effectively and tactfully with a wide variety of individuals in person, via telephone, two-way radio and in writing.

Excellent customer relations skills.

Have a strong work ethic.

Perform operations using weights and measures, volumes, and distances.

Ability to interpret load charts and estimate weight.

Ability to work in extreme outdoor environments (example: hot sun, cold, wet weather, etc.).

Ability to work in various positions, including, but not limited to, stooping, standing, bending over, sitting, kneeling and squatting for extended periods of time.

Be able to lift, pull and push materials and equipment to complete assigned job tasks.

Be able to lift 50 pounds of weight frequently throughout assigned workday.

Must be able to work 60-80 hours weekly for a long duration of time.

FIELD ELECTRICIANS

Job Responsibilities:

Recognizes safety hazards and follows safety guidelines for personal protection, and protection of fellow team members within OSHA guidelines.

Apply knowledge to daily tasks under the supervision of the Lead Solar Electrician.

Repair, test, troubleshoot, inspect, install transformers, hook up inverters, knowledge of breakers, and understanding of SCADA equipment.

DC and AC testing including, but not limited to polarity, open circuit voltage, grounding continuity, and insulation resistance testing.

Ensures the vehicle, tooling, electronics, software, and company property issued are accounted for.

Must perform preventative and corrective maintenance on solar site equipment and wiring under the supervision of the Lead Solar Electrician.

Ability to operate test equipment, such as: voltmeters, meggers, and amp meters.

Must understand the electrical work up to 600/1000 VDC and 480 VAC.

Work as a solar farm team crew member and have the ability to help the mechanical and/or other departments as needed.

Ability to perform terminations and regular electrical hookup in regards to PV Solar.

Working Conditions:

Ability to work in extreme outdoor environments (example: hot sun, cold, wet weather, mud, etc.).

Ability to work in various positions, including, but not limited to, stooping, standing, bending over, sitting, kneeling and squatting for extended periods of time.

Be able to lift, pull and push materials and equipment to complete assigned job tasks.

Be able to lift 50 pounds of weight safely without assistance throughout assigned workday.
