Business Management System (BMS), and participate in planning,
training, facilitation, and execution of various Command-wide
Continous Process Improvement (CPI) initiatives utilizing LEAN,
Theory of Constraint and Lean Six Sigma concepts.Being a Coast Guard civilian makes you a valuable member of the
Coast Guard team.
Identifying, analyzing, and making recommendation to resolve
conventional problems and situations regarding efficiency,
quality of service, and productivity of administrative and
technical programs.
Leading periodic BMS audits of production and support activities
to determine compliance with applicable certification standards,
local procedures and established management practices.
Assisting in planning, scheduling and facilitating of CPI
efforts utilizing concepts LEAN, LEAN Six Sigma, and other
process improvement tools.
Preparing narrative reports containing statements regarding
problem definition, background, observations, options for
change, and recommendations for corrective action; preparing and
conducting BMS audit and CPI project out briefs.
Researching regulations, and determining the relationship
between established guidelines and organizational efficiency,
program effectiveness, or productivity.

experience equivalent to one (1) year of experience at the next
