Work Shift: C Shift (United States of America)This position is responsible for troubleshooting, maintaining, and repairing all equipment and company assets while maintaining a safe work environment and adhering to Tyson policies and procedures.General Maintenance positions are responsible for keeping machinery running to maintain continuous production. You must be able set up, adjust and break down production line machinery. Must be able to learn Tyson SAP software to make work orders and fill out the daily documentation that is required in the system. Must be able to complete paperwork and read manuals where required. Must be able to use math as needed to make work related computations for machinery, fluid capacities, etc. Position will require team member to troubleshoot equipment, work in harsh environments for short periods of time, and work with minimum supervision. Must be able to lift 70 lbs. on a daily basis and be able to work on your feet for a period of 12 hours. Must be willing to complete all required training for the job.Position requires 1 year of previous Maintenance experience. Industrial Maintenance preferred.Position requires team member to complete the following training: Lockout/Tagout, Monthly Safety Topic and Monthly GMP topic, forklift and scissor lift certified, fall protection training, and all Maintenance Training Levels 1-4 within 1 year.When completing a Tyson Foods employment application, be sure to complete all tasks listed on the candidate home page.
