Job DescriptionCACI is seeking a qualified Over the Road Commercial Truck Driver/Military Trainer supporting a US Government Mobile Simulator Facility. This individual will provide training to US Army Soldiers throughout the Continental United States on Precision Targeting Devices.What You'll Get to Do:
Perform commercial driver duties of a 53’ Tractor/Trailer combination vehicle
Develops and presents complex training programs for soldiers and contractor personnel related to the US Government
Responsible for applying technical knowledge and practical concepts, processes, and methods related to technical systems and components
Provides guidance, technical direction, analysis and support for the design, development, integration, testing, documentation, implementation, and sustainment of any of a variety of hardware, software, and integrated product solutions
Interfaces with vendor support service groups to maintain knowledge and resolve technical problems
You'll Bring These Qualifications:
Class A CDL
At least two years of “over the road” driving experience (48 states) with manual transmission
There is no clearance requirement to begin employment. As a requirement of continued employment you will be required to obtain a Secret clearance
Pass a Drug Screen
Pass a Department of Transportation Physical
Experience pulling 53 foot trailers
Excellent driving record: (OPTIONAL) BRING IN DRIVING RECORD TO INTERVIEW
Understands ELOG’s
HANDS ON - Safety check TEST (TUG TEST, Checking Lights, breaks, King pin LOCK and King Pin ECT)
Driver’s TEST including backing a 53’ trailer
Trip planning and understand which highway has low bridges
Must be able to travel up to 50% (CONUS and OCONUS)
Military Instructor experience
These Qualifications Would be Nice to Have:
Project Management experience
Active Secret Clearance
