Wellons Construction, Inc. is currently seeking a full time Field Superintendent who is experienced (5+ years) in project site (grade) and utilities. Qualified applicants must be able to work on multiple job sites throughout the week, multiple tasks, produce quality work and consistently meet deadlines.
Details of Position:
Superintendent will be responsible for daily on site management of assigned projects. Must manage and coordinate the work of all job foremen, and subcontractors working on projects to ensure accomplishment of all objectives related to schedule, quality, safety, cost control(budgeting, bidding, approving invoices) and client satisfaction.
Responsibilities:
Experience in Management/Coordination of on-site foremen and subcontractors, mass earth moving, underground utilities, concrete curbs, and paving
Carry out necessary on-site pre-construction functions (scheduling, construction coordination)
Ensure project schedules are being carried out accordingly
Documentation related to job site activities and site safety (safety logs, daily reports)
Cost Control (review daily field logs, approve invoices) negotiation and understanding of bringing projects in within budget and on time. Computer skills
(Microsoft Office Project Scheduler Software, Build2Win a plus)
Interact with Operations Managers
Ensure proper storage of materials and equipment
Quality Control, and ensure workmanship meets highest quality standards
