Champion Plumbing of the Carolinas located in Gastonia, NC is looking to hire experienced sub-contract plumbing crews to fulfill some of the jobs we have currently going on as well as upcoming projects throughout North and South Carolina as our company grows.
The ideal subcontract crew must be able to handle all aspects of a new construction plumbing job – slab to finish and should have at least 5 years experience in the commercial new construction industry. Champion Plumbing specializes in multi-family (condo, town-home, apartment) construction.
Your crews must be proficient in all aspects of new construction plumbing from the slab all the way to setting the fixtures, including putting all systems on test for inspections.
You must be able to read and understand blueprints and shop drawings.
You must own all your own hand tools including, but not limited to: sawzall, circular saw, drills and bits, metal stud hole punches, air compressor, generator, extension cords, alternative lighting, and laser transit.
You should also be familiar with, and capable of running the following equipment: Mini-Excavator, Scissor Lifts, Core Drill, Hammer Drill, Concrete Saw, and Pipe Threading Equipment. You will not be required to own or provide this equipment, however you will be required to know how to use it.
The ideal crew must have a foreman or superintendent capable of speaking fluent English. He/She should also own a smartphone capable of calls, texts, and emails. ALL forms of communication are key!
WC and GL insurance is mandatory.
The crew leader will make himself/herself available once/week for an on-site meeting with a representative form Champion Plumbing.
