This position description is subject to change at any time as needed to meet the requirements of the program or company.POSITION SUMMARY:The Transportation Senior Logistics Analyst is responsible for coordinating and providing technical assistance to XVIII Abn Corps Units for air, ground and rail movements; coordinates and monitors in‐bound flow of redeploying units and equipment.MAJOR JOB ACTIVITIES:Daily management of material movement.
Supports the coordination, and facilitate the operational aspects, of other current planning, project-team, and line managrment
MATERIAL & EQUIPMENT DIRECTLY USED:Computer, multiline telephone, Multi Function Divide (MFD), typewriterWORKING ENVIRONMENT:
Must possess vision to read printed materials and computer screens; hearing and speech to communicate in person and over the telephone.
Must be available to work during regular business hours.
Must be able to travel 10% of the year
May performing work in conditions of inclement weather, extreme heat and cold, high/low humidity, blowing sand and dust, and working in confined spaces and at heights.
PHYSICAL ACTIVITIES:
Function in an office environment in a stationary position approximately 25 percent of the time or more.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:Education/Certifications :High School diploma or equivalent.Must successfully pass a NACI background investigation and maintain a SECRET clearance.Must have a valid driver’s licenseSpecific contractual requirements regarding education and experience prevail where applicable.Skills and Experience :Five (5) years documented experience providing senior level liaison logistics analysis support in a transportation related field.Must have a comprehensive knowledge of governing regulations, policies, procedures and instructions in the areas of personal property, unit and materiel movement.Must have a comprehensive knowledge and working proficiently of the following:Transportation Coordinators’ Automated Information for Movement System (TC‐AIMS II),Joint Container Management System(JCM), DoD Global Distribution System,Electronic Transportation Acquisition Systems (ETA),Carrier Appointment System (CAS),Carrier Go PAX Portal,GlobalFreight Management System (GFM) integrated,Computerized Deployment System (ICODES),Integrated Booking System (IBS),Integrated Mission Support for Surface Deployment and Distribution Command System (ISDDC) and Global Asset Reporting Tool (GART).Accesses Joint Operations Planning and Execution System (JOPES) and other systems.Possess the appropriate verbal and written communications skills to conduct meetings, execute plans, prepare reports, plans and working instructions.Must be eligible for issue and possession of a Common Access Card (CAC).Ability to work independently or in a team-based, highly collaborative environment.Job duties and responsibilities may change due to contractual requirements.SUPERVISORY/BUDGET RESPONSIBILITIES:N/AJob: LogisticsTitle: Sr. Logistics Analyst (LAT)Location: NC-Fort BraggRequisition ID: FBN000336Clearance Level required at Start Date: NACITravel: Yes, 10 % of the TimeWe are committed to an inclusive and diverse workplace that values and supports the contributions of each individual.
