2 Full time experienced receptionists needed to join our 6 Doctor, fast-paced dynamic team at North Elm Animal Hospital. As a veterinary receptionist, you will be the first point of contact for our very busy practice. You will handle the flow of clients and patients through the business and ensure that all receptionist responsibilities are completed accurately and delivered with high quality and in a timely manner.
Requirements:
-1 year minimum veterinary hospital experience preferred (candidates with experience will be taken into -consideration before any other applicant)
-Professional appearance
-Solid communication skills both written and verbal
-Ability to pay close attention to detail
-Ability to be resourceful and proactive in dealing with issues that may arise
-Ability to organize, multi-task, prioritize and work under pressure
-Computer skills (Knowledge of DVMax a PLUS!))
-Need to be personable, kind, and outgoing
-Able to work well with co-workers, keep the drama out and be part of a team
-Of course, must love animals!
Duties include:
-Opening the hospital and preparing for the work day OR closing the hospital and reconciling the financial transactions of the day
-Admitting and discharging patients, boarders
-Taking payments from clients
-Answering VERY busy phone lines,scheduling appointments, surgeries, grooming, boarding
-Liaison between client and doctor
-Handle emergencies and stressful situations as they come in in a proper and calm manner

HOURS NEEDED:
Monday-Friday 730 am-430 pm
or
Monday-Friday 10 am-close (usually around 630 pm)
1-2 Saturdays per month 730 am-1230(ish) pm
