Description:
Perform functional development meaning requirement breakdown, software design, documentation, implementation, testing and verification. Specialize in a technical domain (Vehicle, HMI) in which features are developed.
Additional responsibilities may include:
Investigate, analyze, and solve reported product issuesDevelop and maintain function requirements documentation for the applicationManage functional variability of an electronic control unit in the product documentation management system (KOLA)Design, develop, debug and release IC application software created in the logi.CAD 3 PLC programming environment
Required Competencies:Capable of solving engineering problems through accurate interpretation of requirements and test resultsExperience performing requirement analysis and definition, working with stakeholders to refine product requirements to be realized in embedded software componentsExperience in software analysis, development, task time and effort estimation, and execution to planExperience with model-based programming, preferably using logi.CAD to develop customized instrument clusters for automotive applicationsOther programming experience with various languages using object-oriented analysis and programming techniques is a plus (i.e. C, C#, C, Java, Python, etc.)Experience with Network protocols and CAN communication and associated tools is a plus (i.e. Vector CANalyzer, CANoe, etc.)Strong written and verbal communication skills and strong problem-solving skillsDesired Competencies: Customer focus, Decision quality, Collaboration, Values differences, Action oriented
