WashingtonEngineering seeks to hire 5 to 6 individuals for performing fall season
landscaping tasks FOR ONE DAY ONLY
1) Basic yard clean-up: (leaf blowing / leaf collection / leaf hauling);
2) Ditch clean-out: (leaf raking / leaf collection / branch and limb collection / branch and limb hauling)
3) Tree cutting activities: (Trunk / Limb / Branch bucking with chain-saw)
Work is scheduled to take place Friday (19 December 2025):
Start time shall be 9:30am and end time shall be 4:00pm with 30 minute unpaid lunch break.
If raining on Friday 19 December 2025; work will take place Saturday 20 December 2025 at
same times as Friday.
If you are coming from outside of Danville, VA.; I shall pay for one-way
travel of 70-cent a mile for driving to site based on your current and
unexpired drivers license address up to 60 miles max.
General Landscaping Laborer Compensation Rate: $90.00 to $115.00 for six hours work
Tasks: Basic yard clean-up & Ditch clean-out:
Items You Provide: Rubber boots 16 inches above ankels and work gloves
Items provided by WashingtonEngineering: Rakes, Leaf blowers, Leaf collection sheets, and Traction snow grips
Maximum number of persons for this task: 3
Advanced Lanscaping Laborer Compensation Rate: $135.00 to $170.00 for six hours work
Tasks: Basic yard clean-up & Ditch clean-out:
Items You Provide: Rubber boots 16 inches above ankels and work gloves
Rakes, Leaf blowers, and Leaf collection sheets.
Items provided by WashingtonEngineering: Traction snow grips
Maximum number of persons for this task: 2
Chainsw Landscaper Laborer Compensation Rate: $175.00 to $225.00 for six hours work
Tasks: Basic yard clean-up & Ditch clean-out & Tree cutting activities
Items You Provide: Rubber boots 16 inches above ankels and work gloves
Rakes, Leaf blowers, Leaf collection sheets, 20" Bar chainsaw
Lumber protection eyewear/pants/jacket and Traction snow grips
Items provided by WashingtonEngineering: None
Maximum number of persons for this task: 1
All items distributed by WashingtonEngineering must be returned by conclusion
of the work day
