Production - Technician Position Overview
Apollo Custom is currently seeking a Production - Technician to join our hardworking Custom Coatings team in Greensboro, North Carolina!
We are looking for enthusiastic and experienced Production – Technician to join a growing division of our business. As the Production - Technician, you will have the opportunity to become a part of a premier custom firearms and coating business as an active contributor in the production process. In this position, you will be exposed to practically every aspect of our business. All of the members of our team will be cross training in all functional roles. This will give variety while also learning the full process production process from start to finish.
Production - Technician Responsibilities include:
Following training on the proper operation and use of all equipment, the ability to demonstrate a clear and practical understanding of all equipment and roles that include but are not limited to: Disassembly, reassembly, sanding, coating, firearm layout, and laser engraving
Maintaining and documenting all processes to ensure quality while maximizing efficiency
Sustaining an effective workflow to match the production floor demand and output specifications
Ensuring that strict workplace cleanliness and safety guidelines and company standards are being complied with
Keeping accurate tracking of all in process goods in your functional area
Ideal Production - Technician Candidate Would Possess
1 to 2 years of experience in a production environment involving cycle times
Excellent computer skills including Microsoft Office
The ability to effectively communicate with all levels of employees and customers
Self-motivation as this position will be largely independently completing work product
A degree in a technical, engineering, or relevant field will be a PLUS
General firearms knowledge and experience
A willingness and desire to learn new process while being flexible enough to take on additional tasks as demand requires
Production - Technician Salary & Benefits
