Z.N.Cobb Builders is looking for a couple more carpenters to add to our crew.
We are looking for carpenters to assist in the construction of wood Pole Barns. Most of our barns are completed with wood Board and Batten siding, they have a lot of exterior trim detail. We are looking for guys that take pride in their work, have enthusiasm for craftsmanship, and are fun to work with. Willing to train the right candidates if they do not have the experience needed.
This is a growing company with a lot of work and room for advancement. Most importantly we are looking for good people to work with that are eager to learn and excited to work.
We are looking to fill the following positions
- Carpenters with at least 1 year experience in framing
-Lead Framing Carpenters with multiple years of experience as a lead man or running their own crew
- Helpers with little or no experience but excited to learn a trade
- Subcontractors with a crew of 2 or more to take on additional projects (flat rate or hourly contract to be negotiated)
Pay depending on experience UP TO $25 per hour to start for carpenters with MULTIPLE YEARS of experience and a great work ethic.
Candidates must meet the follow
-Able to get to work on time and work Mondays, Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Thursdays and Fridays typically 7:30 am to 4:00 pm averaging 40hrs per week (part time or per project position will be considered for the right candidate)
-Must have a positive attitude and happy to be at work everyday
-Must be comfortable working on roofs to assist in setting trusses
-Must be able to use a nail gun, saw, and a shovel when needed
-Drug and Alcohol free job sites
-Experience running a bobcat is a plus
Most of our projects are in the Greater Greensboro and Greater Winston Salem area
