We Communities owns and operates two apartment complexes in the Greensboro area and is in the process of renovating units and is assembling a renovation team to meet established timeline, budget, and quality objectives.
We are currently looking for an individual that specializes in plumbing for this renovation project.
Responsibilities:
-Complete assigned tasks in accordance with schedule and established quality standards.
-Immediately report any issues that may delay timeline or have significant impact to budget.
-Take direction from team lead and management staff for assigned tasks on a daily basis.
-Strong desire to learn new or improve skills that contribute to the renovation effort.
Skills:
-Ability to cut down walls, remove and replace kitchen cabinets and vanities, and prepare surfaces for counter top installation.
-Proficient at installing faucet water supply lines, kitchen and bathroom sink waste lines.
-Install kitchen and bathroom faucets.
-Highly proficient with drywall repair, mud, and preparation for painting.
-Experience painting ceilings, walls, and trim. Spraying is preferred application for walls and ceilings.
-Basic understanding of electrical work with ability to replace light fixtures, associated switches, standard and GFCI electrical outlets.
-General knowledge and expertise repairing or replacing of common household items such as interior doors, sliding doors, windows, window screens, etc.
-Able to perform duties of the job while standing, bending, walking, and/or sitting for extended periods of time, use hands and fingers to handle tools and controls, bend, stoop, climb ladders, reach, carry objects and crawl in confined areas.
-Able to push, pull, lift, carry and maneuver weights of up to 30 pounds independently and 50 pounds with assistance.
Required Qualifications:
-High School Diploma or equivalent required.
-3-10 years relevant experience.
-Ability to operate required power tools to facilitate renovations.
-Capable of carrying materials, standing, kneeling, and working on ladders as needed.
-Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
-Excellent oral and written communication skills.
