Huffman Grading has an immediate opening for a full time assistant estimator. Preferred candidate would have 1 to 3 years of experience, but we are willing to train the right candidate. The assistant estimator will assist our estimating team on project bids and current jobs. The ideal candidate will be a detail oriented, self-motivated team player with strong computer skills.
Duties and Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
⢠Assist in analyzing and interpreting civil plans and specifications
⢠Perform take-offs using Agtek software
⢠Obtain quotes from suppliers
⢠Maintain up-to-date knowledge of current jobs in order to analyze and process changes
⢠Ability to meet deadlines
⢠Perform other administrative tasks as needed
