Responsibilities

• The Network Engineer shall design, install, configure and troubleshoot wired and wireless network architectures. This includes routers, switches, VPN, IDS/IPS, SIEM, wireless access points, controllers, and other supporting devices and software used for monitoring, data collection and network security.
  

Requirements

• Completes Service Requests in production and deployed environments.
  
• Installs, configures, and maintains a combination of IM/C2 systems that include TCS, JTCW, C2PC, BFT, JBCP-FoS, JBV AFATDS, JADOCS, CPoF, and COC (CAPSET).
  
• Maintains and upgrades IM/C2 production environment.
  
• Manages IM/C2 system operations and services to include establishing a [C2] systems baseline, conducting backups of IM/C2 systems data, implementation of systems restores and disaster recovery procedures.
  
• Installs, configures, and maintains Storage Area Network (SAN) and Network Attached Storage (NAS) in production and deployed environments.
  
• Installs, configures, and maintains servers that operate using Windows Server 2012, Windows Server 2012 R2, Windows Server 2016, Windows Server 2019.
  
• Installs, configures, deploys, and maintains, virtual environments using VMware ESXi, VMware vSphere, vCenter Configuration Manager, and vCenter Application Discovery Manager Installs, configures, and maintains chat services using iRC and .xmpp protocols, and chat applications to include MakoChat, Jabber, DCS, OpenFire, Transverse, Swift, and ChatSurfer.
  
• Familiarity with Collaborative Services to include SharePoint, SharePoint Administration, APAN, Intelink, CAS, MS Teams, and Skype for Business (SfB), and SfB Administration.
  
• Familiarity with Windows 10, Solaris 10, or Red Hat Linux System Administration is highly recommended.
  
• More than two (2) years’ experience with MS Office products.
  

U.S. Citizenship required.
