RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce's Enterprise Tech Client is seeking a Lead Back End Developer to join our team in Morrisville, NC. You will develop and support tools used by global customer support engineers who support our client's customers with lab recreations.

Summary:
This role is pivotal in supporting the broader delivery teams and will require excellent organizational skills to make the most effective use of resources available. Change management is essential, as is regular communication of progress, timelines, and any delays. The Developer will take initiative, engage, and collaborate with the business to ensure that all issues are appropriately prioritized.

You will work on many tools related projects with varying responsibilities. The client needs an expert Developer that is ambitious with strong problem-solving skills, excellent communication and has a real passion for programming especially in automation. You are a strong team leader who listens to their users, is passionate about programming and innovation, as well as walks in their users' shoes.

Working as part of a global team in the CX Labs you will:
Take requirements from user groups and leaders in all regions and turn those requirements into agile solutions
Strategize with the team to combine and consolidate disparate systems demonstrating the strengths and best features of each
Handle adding functions to change as the business changes

The goal is to combine two separate tools into a single tool that provides resource sharing and a common user experience; CX Lab management tools include:
Checkout/reservation system
"Case queue- workflow management system
Comprehensive business intelligence suite
Purchase tracking & request system, along with budget management
Content management/presentation system
Automation of network builds, inventory, power

REQUIREMENTS:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent experience
6+ years of full-time development experience
5+ years of experience utilizing various coding languages including Python and React/Flask
Proficient in Linux/UNIX platforms
Experience working with logs, call stacks, etc. while debugging applications
Experience creating and using Ansible playbooks to merge code at scale
Experience and knowledge of GraphQL, RESTful APIs or other Web Services
Worked in environments following Agile development methodologies
Experience developing and maintaining CI/CD workflows
Understanding in modern dev ops activities leveraging containers (Docker, Kubernetes)
Knowledge of the basic principles of software design for maintainable and extendable software
Experience using a team collaboration tool (Bitbucket, GitHub, etc.)
Excellent oral and written communication skills and the can communicate effectively with others
Demonstrated problem solving, interpersonal, and time management skills to handle complex situations effectively and dealt with effectively
A solid understanding of TCP/IP and networking, with exposure to company devices and solutions is desired

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
