Document requirements, defines scope and objectives, and formulates systems to parallel overall business strategies
Designs, modifies, develops and writes requirements and specifications of software programming applications
Diagnose, analyze and solve application and data issues.
Coordinate applications release including any change management related tasks and documentation
Support the group's DR, Risk assessments and change control process
Provide application support for business units.
THE BACKGROUND THAT FITS
7+ years of experience working at an Asset or Investment Manager, Broker or Custodian.
BS / BA in Computer Science, Engineering, Math or related technical area.
Knowledge of Equities / Fixed Income / Derivatives / Private Assets processing in portfolio accounting platforms like Eagle Pace / Goldensource / Frontinvest.
Knowledge of Master Data Platforms like Goldensource / Markit EDM.
Knowledge of Data Governance workflows in tools like Collibra.
Knowledge of the Asset Management business with specific emphasis on Data warehouse / Reporting, Middle office operations, Securities trading, Settlement and Portfolio management.
Ability to write complex SQL to query large data sets.
Ability to document current and target state business functional workflows using tools such as Microsoft Visio and PowerPoint.
Experience with Web Services and real-time event driven Data Integration is a plus.
Knowledge of Snowflake / Cloud data warehouses (i.e. Parquet / AWS S3 / Delta Lake) is a big plus.
