Busy optometry practice seeking a positive, fun, knowledgeable optician to join our growing team.
Job Responsibilities: The Optician's primary responsibilities will be buying frames and helping patients find the right eyewear and lenses.
⢠Promoting eyewear sales in a classy and sophisticated manner
⢠Educating/advising patients on frame/lens options
⢠Staying current with fashion and eyewear trends
⢠Taking measurements
⢠Placing orders and filing insurance
⢠Adjusting glasses
⢠Dispensing eyewear
⢠Repairing glasses
⢠Reviewing insurance benefits with patients
⢠Other responsibilities as needed
Preferred Qualities:
⢠Previous eye care AND optical experience is REQUIRED
⢠Selfless team player who is assertive, goal-oriented, positive and self-motivated
⢠Desire to work in a dynamic, fun, and fast-paced environment
⢠Strong ability to multi-task
⢠High level of integrity
⢠Excellent communication skills
⢠Sense of fashion
⢠Sense of humor
What we offer:
⢠Full-time position: Monday - Thursday 8:45-5 and Friday 8-3
