WG PITTS is looking for a leader and has an opening for an experienced construction
Project Manager (PM)to work in Camp Lejeune, North Carolina for work on U.S. Government construction projects or various sizes up to $20 million.
General Requirements:
As a PM you will be responsible for the project from the bidding and estimating stage, to start-up, construction execution and close out.
You will work closely with your Director of Construction and Project Superintendent.
You will be responsible and accountable for planning, managing and coordinating construction projects on a profitable basis with a constant awareness for cost, quality, and timely completion.
You will be responsible for managing the project superintendent and all vendors and subcontractors on the project.
Your superintendent will be responsible for schedule, quality, safety, production and vendor management on the job site.
As the PM you will be the company's primary representative to our clients. You will regularly visits with clients, conducts project meetings, prepare presentations, proposals and maintain the project schedule in Project or Primavera.
In order to be successful in this position the following technical competencies are required:
You must have a command of all facets of building construction both vertical and horizontal.
You must have good communication and written skills, with ability to conduct project meetings in a professional manner.
You must have good understanding of project accounting and completing project cost reports.
You must have a command of vendor and subcontract management and the ability to write scopes of work and prepare vendor agreements.
You must have a command of project scheduling and the ability to manage through a schedule.
You must have good technology and computer skills.
Qualifications:
Advanced educational training with a 4-year degree in Building Construction or Engineering
Min. Requirements:
10 years of construction and minimum of 5 years as a Project Management experience.
MS Word, MS Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Microsoft Project
