JOB DESCRIPTION: Applicant will be proficient at a minimum, in the following tasks:
ïª Repair of Labels ïª Re-stock Requirements
ïª Placement of Merchandise on Shelves ïª Merchandise Rotation
ïª Excess Stock (Overwrite) ïª Methods of Stocking
ïª Expired Code Dates ïª Stocking Criteria
ïª Cleaning and Dusting Shelf Area ïª Not in Stock (NIS)
ïª Facing and Fronting ïª Disposal of Cardboard
ïª Returning Merchandise ïª Damaged Items
ïª Disposal of Waste Materials ïª Partial Case Stocking
ïª Universal Product Code (UPC)
ïª Cutting Open Cases of Merchandise
Secondary Duties: For a Day stocker position.the day stocker is also required to clean and replenish the restrooms throughout the day and also clean-up any spills that occur on the commissary sales floor.
