Fast-paced vacation rental company on Topsail Island is looking to add a full-time maintenance technician/handyman to its team.
Job Description:
Perform minor and routine maintenance repairs for rental homes
Quality of work must always be professional and done efficiently
Responsible for completing work orders in a timely manner
Accurately document work performed, including parts and time needed to complete task.
Work with team of technicians to ensure owner and guest needs are met and homes are maintained
Communicate with owners and guests to ensure work is satisfactory
Perform other duties as assigned by the Property Manager and office staff
Requirements:
Minimum 1 year experience on general home maintenance is required (basic knowledge of carpentry, electrical, plumbing, general mechanical, and home electronics)
Must live near Topsail Island and be familiar with the area
Team player with customer service oriented attitude
Must be able to work efficiently and meet deadlines
Problem solving skills is mandatory
Seasonal weekend and holiday work required
Must provide own small tools
Must have valid driver's license and maintain a clean driving record
Vacation rentals or property management experience a plus
