Example of HVAC Technician work duties.
â¢Travel to homes and businesses on a daily basis as scheduled
â¢Perform consultations with customers
â¢Determine customer needs and discuss all solution methods
â¢Install new heating, cooling, and ventilation systems
â¢Inspect current HVAC systems for effectiveness and safety
â¢Perform preventative maintenance on HVAC systems to increase longevity
â¢Conduct performance tests with specialized tools
â¢Troubleshoot current HVAC system issues
â¢Repair damaged HVAC systems
â¢Sell ongoing maintenance contracts to current customers
â¢Keep records of customer appointments and payment transactions including invoices
â¢Maintain accurate inventory of all equipment and HVAC resources
