Nor'Banks Sailing and Watersports in Duck is searching for responsible, friendly and mature individuals to help manage our seasonal watersports business from May through mid-October. The best applicants are self-starters with excellent organizational skills, a positive attitude and a good disposition for customer service and delegating tasks.
Helpful experience includes but is not limited to: previous managerial experience, background in customer service, mechanical aptitude, boating and boat maintenance, trailering boats, lifeguarding, wakeboarding and waterskiing, kayaking, sailing, proficiency with a POS system, sales and experience with supervisory duties such as opening and closing and keeping daily books. C.P.R. and first aid certification will be required if you do not already possess it.
This position is seasonal, and offers great potential for advancement.
Pay starts at $12-15 per hour plus tips with higher starting pay for highly qualified candidates and raises for those who make themselves indispensable.
The job is primarily outdoors and will generally require 4 1/2 to 5 days a week of 9-11 hour days. The work can be physically demanding (i.e. boat cleaning and maintenance, water rescues, handling vessels in inclement weather).
