Order Prep / Customer Service

Schedule:

Part time (10-15 hours per week) , Temporary with potential to become Permanent

Somewhat flexible.

Business hours are M-F, 8 am- 5 pm, so hours will be scheduled during that time.

Salary:

$15.00- $16.00/hr depending on candidate fit for the position

Locally owned and operated eCommerce business is searching for a new Assistant.

The main duties of this assistant will involve the preparation of orders and the providing of customer service (via website chat service, phone and email). Additional duties could involve other areas of business operation including clerical/office tasks, packaging orders, purchasing supplies, receiving/ stocking/ inventory of materials, running local errands, posting to social networking sites and others as needed. The position is perfect for a college student, or someone with a current evening or weekend job, whose weekday availability is flexible and may accommodate more hours in the future. We prefer a mix of morning hours (often scheduled 8am- noon) and afternoon hours (1 pm-5pm), but hours may be arranged around a second job or classes when possible. We are located in Powells Point, NC, just a few minutes from the Wright Memorial Bridge. We offer all necessary training for the position and no knowledge of copper is expected or required. We are looking for someone ready to learn, who will bring a positive and helpful attitude to the workplace and our customers. We are small, but firmly established business with a 12 year history of offering excellent products and customer service to a global customer base. We have a great group of people who work closely together, and will be looking for someone whose personality will fit in well with our unique environment that is casual, yet professional. This position will be for 3 months, with the potential to become a permanent, year-round position.
