We are a large fabrication shop looking to hire multiple positions.
We are currently looking for punctual, goal oriented, and self-motivated candidates for numerous machine operating positions. These positions are full time, long term openings with a manufacturing company in Chesapeake VA. Previous industrial manufacturer experience required, no exceptions.
Responsibilities and Duties
Read, learn, understand and interpret work instructions, and other instructions written or verbal, to complete labor intensive tasks.
Reading tape measure.
Use a variety of tools and machinery following appropriate methods and procedures to complete finished products.
Operate forklifts and overhead cranes to move raw materials, move work in progress.
Maintain a clean and organized work area and maintain all equipment according to established guidelines.
Cross train in all areas of department as needed.
Complete all paperwork as required by work instructions.
Inspect parts and products as necessary according to established guidelines and quality standards.
Other duties as assigned by supervisor or management.
Qualifications and Skills
Read/understand measuring devices (tape measure,gauges and calipers).
Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions.
Write legibly.
Must be able to work overtime when required.
Must be able to work Saturdays as required.

Qualifications
High School Diploma/GED from an accredited institution
Minimum 2 years experience in a manufacturing / fabrication environment
Employees must be legally authorized to work in the United States.
Monday - Friday 7:00-3:30
