TSI Consulting Solutions, LLC is a growing leader as a Contract Delivery Service supplier for the United States Postal Service. We are currently seeking applicants to serve as a Mail Carrier on a Contract Delivery Service (CDS) mail route in Kitty Hawk, North Carolina.
REQUIREMENTS:
Must have legal documentation to work in the United States
Must be at least 21 years of age
Must have valid driver's license
Must be able to lift 70 lbs.
Must be able to work in all types of weather conditions
Must reside in the area or neighboring town/city
Must pass a criminal background check and drug test
Must have a clean 5 year driving history
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
Sorting mail in delivery sequence for active mailboxes
Loading mail and parcels in delivery sequence into a delivery vehicle
Delivering mail to customer boxes along an assigned line-of-travel
Delivery parcels, Express mail and other accountable mail items as required
Other administrative duties are required
Must provide own employees to assist with daily delivery operations if needed
MINIMUM VEHICLE AND INSURANCE REQUIREMENTS:
Applicant must provide vehicle, which meets postal regulations
One (1) dependable vehicle providing a minimum 120 cubic feet of usable cargo space
Vehicle must be in good mechanical and physical condition
SUV or Minivan type vehicles work well for this requirement
$100,00/$300,000/$100,000 or $600,000 (CSL) of liability insurance is required on contract vehicle
Applicant will be responsible for all vehicle maintenance, fuel and insurance costs
Employment begins April 1, 2019 -Training will begin one to two weeks prior.
Work schedule: Monday - Saturday 7 am until finished, daily usually 4pm
Salary: $36,000 to $40,000 per year plus monthly fuel allowance
Health/Welfare, Vacation and Holiday compensation are already included in pay rate
Typically, this route requires 8-10 hours of work daily, depending on volume of mail
Experience:
USPS delivery; 1 year (preferred)
Customer service and/or delivery background (required)
Education:
High school diploma or equivalent (required)
