Our growing construction based company is seeking a full time bookkeeper. Candidate must have a good attitude, positive outlook, be trustworthy and possess efficient organizational skills. Must have experience and strong background in Billing, A/P, A/R, Bank Recs, Collections, Quickbooks and interacting with Vendors and Clients.
Candidate must be responsible and be able to work effectively in a fast-paced casual environment while maintaining a professional attitude. Must show initiative and be willing to help with other miscellaneous office responsibilities if needed. Must be able to work independently and suggest the most efficient way to get your job done. Candidate will be responsible for defining this position in the company and assisting us grow our company to the next level.
Skills: Bank Reconciliation, Advanced knowledge of QuickBooks Premier Contractors Edition, Cash Management/Cash Flow, General Ledger, Payroll, Human Resources, Sales Tax and Microsoft Excel.
Work Performed:
Balance Sheets and Income Statements
Creating Invoices, Expense Reports and Bills
Customer and Builder Collections and Aging Reports
Creating and Assigning New Vendor and Customer Accounts in Quickbooks
Pay Bills Weekley
Input all Invoices, Receipts, etc. into Quickbooks
Maintain all Vendor files
Submitting Payroll Hours and Sales Commission Reports.
Maintain Employee Files.
Keep Builder account current and in compliance with Insurance renewals etc.
Preparing budgets A/P, A/R, and Bank Statements
Submit Quarterly Sales Tax
Minimum Qualifications:
Minimum of three years previous accounting/bookkeeping experience or equivalent.
