This Sr Project Manager role is a key position and will serve in leadership for a design-build commercial construction company. Oversee all aspects of project management; including, contract administration, construction execution from start to finish through planning, development, scheduling, and ongoing management of the project.
Key Responsibilities include:
Build and maintain client relationships
Provide project team leadership and maintain a positive work environment.
Bid preparation, project start up, permit and regulatory submissions and project set up.
Coordination and reviewing of drawings, submissions, specifications, changes, and document control.
Preparation and maintenance of the project schedule and costing system and forecasting.
Assisting with material procurement and expediting deliveries.
Assisting in preparing and tracking payment requests/invoices and estimates.
Change management - assisting in set-up, issuing documentation for pricing and change administration.
Subcontract administration - defining scope of work, answering RFI's, Submittals, and general document control and monitoring progress.
Monitoring quality control, safety, and environment programs.
Project close out, involved in coordinating of documentation - deficiencies, warranties, maintenance, and final payments.
Attend and participate in project meetings and prepare progress reports and meeting minutes.
Distribution of proposal change documents to subcontractors/suppliers and assist with collecting pricing and/or preparing change proposal requirements for internal pricing review.
Ensure POs and Change Orders are provided to accounting
Perform constructability reviews and support the development of construction documents
Education & Additional Qualifications
Minimum 10 years working experience in Project Management (Construction Required)
Proficient in MS Office and virtual collaboration tools.
Strong analytical, organizational, and multi-tasking abilities are required to find solutions to various issues prioritize work and meet deadlines.
Strong verbal and written communication skills, initiative and positive, "can-do attitude is essential.
