About the role
Credibles Operation team is looking for outgoing, enthusiastic Operations Interns for a summer internship in Credibles Durham, North Carolina office. As an Operations Intern, you will assist the Loan Operations and Client Success teams with processing loan applications, answering questions from clients, and reporting on loan metrics for internal analytics.
This internship will assist both customers and internal stakeholders, and will provide an opportunity for interns to practice their customer service, data processing, and analytical skills. We are open to tailoring the internship experience to what is most relevant to your coursework or desired career, where possible.
You will:
Evaluate customer requests for loan offers and process those requests efficiently, accurately, and professionally with support from the Loan Operations team for complex cases
Collaborate with Credibles analysts to establish or improve upon your SQL and Excel skills
Educate borrowers by phone, e-mail, and web chat: clarify loan processes and assist them in improving their financial literacy
Work with Credibles Client Success team in fielding requests for assistance from current college students using our platform
Requirements
Current Bachelors student or recent graduate. Preference for coursework relevant to Finance or Operations, but not required
Detail-oriented, organized, and able to multitask
Tactful, with good judgment you will be helping people with an important and stressful decision
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
As housing is not provided for this internship, please already be local to Durham area.
