The perfect applicant will¦.
Have a true passion for animals of all shapes and sizes
Possess at least five years of experience in animal care (pet ownership may qualify)
Be available from 9-5 on weekdays
Know how to communicate well through text
Be able to pass a criminal background check
Be highly organized
Live in Apex, Holly Springs, or Cary
Have their own dependable transportation and a good driving record. (No DUIs)
Be physically able to walk up to (but probably less than) 5 miles a day
Own a smartphone
Have a great sense of humor (not required¦but a definite plus!)
Job Type: Part-time with Full-Time opportunities in the future.
Salary: Pay is commissioned based. Sample starting commissions are as follows:
$8.25 per 15-minute check in
$9.90 per regular pet sit (about 25-30 minutes)
$12.65 per walk (about 30-40 minutes)
$40.20 per overnight visit (get paid while you sleep!)
Do you love people as much as you love pets Then get a bonus commission with consultations:
$20.00 per consultation (about 1 hour)

Feeding, loving on, and playing with pets
Cleaning up after pets
Following written instructions
Bringing in mail and/or newspaper
Communicating with clients after each visit
