Model Energy, PLLC is a Raleigh, NC based engineering firm focused on renewable energy consulting. We work with companies throughout North Carolina, and nationally, with their solar, wind, and energy efficiency projects. Currently, we are seeking a Solar Designer/CAD Technician to support our growing workload.
Job Summary:
Work with engineer to define project requirements
Design solar PV systems for residential and commercial structures
Create AutoCAD drawings for construction and permitting
Generate construction details
Speak with clients about project specifics
Apply state and national codes to system designs
Qualification:
Proficiency with 2D AutoCAD design
Capable of meeting deadlines
Self-sufficient
High productivity
Good communication skills
PV system knowledge a plus!
