Located in Raleigh NC, Piper companies is seeking a 100% REMOTE DevOps Engineer to join our team! Currently, we are looking for someone to work with our Senior DevOps Engineer in support of the tools and processes to design, build, deploy, manage, and monitor multiple applications for a highly visible government agency.

Responsibilities for the DevOps Engineer include:

• Assist development teams in deployments
• Troubleshoot delivery failures and application outages
• Modify current CI/CD pipelines (adding or changing environmental variables, testing steps, or build steps, etc.)
• Documentation of current processes and updating documentation with process changes
• Automate processes to reduce time to deployment or increase efficiency
• Analyze problem areas via logs and monitoring metrics to improve server and application performance

• 1+ years of experience working with CI/CD platforms such as Jenkins or GitLab
• Hands on experience working with containerized technologies such as Docker
• Linux administration skills using technologies for web applications such as Apache, Nginx, and/or HAProxy
• Agile development such as scrum or Kanban preferred

• Salary Range: $90,000 - $100,000 (based on experience)
