Piper Companies is currently seeking a strong Business Analyst for an opportunity in RTP (remote initially), North Carolina (NC). The Business Analyst will be working within the Digital Account Opening team, and will partner with the strategy product owner to implement and deliver solutions for new product or channel concepts, enhancements, and road map deliverables.

Responsibilities of the Business Analyst:

  • Perform business analysis for the digital account opening team as a liaison between Product Owners, IT, 3 rd party vendors, and key internal stakeholders
  • Manage the creating, organization, and documentation of business requirements, user stories, supporting documentation, test plans, and test scripts to execute User Acceptance Tests
  • Serve as a thought-leader and consultant for the business and lead all aspects of requirements analysis, traceability, and testing for enhancements and new products that vary in size and complexity
  • Provide operational updates to Product Owners
  • Assist the team with strategy & execution


Qualifications of the Business Analyst
  • 4+ years of Business Analysis experience
  • Prior experience working in financial services or banking
  • Strong quantitative, analytical and conceptual thinking skills
  • Agile experience
  • Lean Six Sigma experience or certification


Compensation for the Business Analyst:
  • Salary Range: $80,000 - $90,000
