Timmons Group is currently seeking an experienced Structural Project Engineer II or III to join our Structure & Bridge Design group in our Raleigh, North Carolina office location.Essential Duties and Responsibilities of a successful candidate include but are not limited to:Perform routine and complex bridge, building, renewable energy, and ancillary structure designsPerform bridge and building rehabilitation designsConduct bridge load ratingsAssist with the development of scope, schedule and budgets for projectsAssist with the management of projects and tasksAssist with marketing and proposal developmentSkills/Requirements of a successful candidate include but are not limited to:Bachelor's degree in Civil or Structural Engineering required, Master’s degree preferred4+ years of structure and/or bridge design experience requiredPE License is a plusExcellent written and verbal communication skillsKnowledge of AASHTO LRFD Bridge Design Specifications, AASHTO Manual for Bridge Evaluation and NCDOT standardsProficiency in structural design software packagesProficiency in the use of Microstation and/or AutoCAD for plan developmentNBIS bridge inspection certification is a plus
