job summary:

We have a direct FTE role for a C#/.NET Developer with a client of ours in Raleigh, NC. Candidate must work in the Raleigh, NC office 100%. No remote work. As a Software Engineer, you will be working side by side with a cross functional team of product owners, quality assurance and engineers who are focused on the continued growth of our award-winning Control Systems solution. You will be working on solving real world problems and innovating how our millions of users configure, control and interact with AV Devices. You will participate in both early technology research and product development. We need our engineers to be versatile and passionate to tackle new problems as we continue to push technology forward.




Responsibilities



  • Design, develop, test, deploy, maintain and improve software.
  • Collaborate with engineering leads, product owners, UX/UI designers and firmware engineers to provide a consistent and predictive product.
  • Support of agile principles and values within and across the cross functional teams.
  • Provide valuable analysis on designs and application code.
  • Root cause analysis of issues found in the field.
  • Participate in SCRUM ceremonies
  • Author and maintain documentation and unit test




Minimum Qualifications



  • BS Degree in Computer Science or similar technical field of study or equivalent practical experience.
  • Software development experience in one or more programming languages like Java, Python, C, JavaScript etc.
  • C#/.Net development experience required
  • Solid understanding of object-oriented design and programming principles.
  • Solid understanding of Data Structures.
  • Working proficiency and communication skills in verbal and written English




Preferred Qualifications



  • Experience in native Windows desktop application development using WPF
  • Network programming experience
