We bring “farm to fork” expertise with team members who are passionate about the industries, provide unique products designed to mitigate specific industry risk, and provide a full suite of services for businesses of all sizes.The Agribusiness Relationship Manager 5 is a senior level relationship position focused on generating revenue, in addition to new business relationships and the management of a complex portfolio of middle market commercial account relationships.Responsibilities include:
Meeting annual revenue goals by actively generating new business through prospecting and cross sell efforts.
Representing the bank in developing and maintaining client relationships with the most important/key clients.
Originating, structuring, and executing the most complex commercial middle market transactions, including, but not limited to, investment banking, treasury management products, commercial lending and/or non-credit related products.
May provide coaching/mentoring in the development of more junior level relationship managers.
The territory includes North Carolina and the Virginia markets. Will consider other locations within the territory.Team members support our focus on building strong customer relationships balanced with a strong risk mitigating and compliance-driven culture which firmly establishes those disciplines as critical to the success of our customers and company. They are accountable for execution of all applicable risk programs (Credit, Market, Financial Crimes, Operational, Regulatory Compliance), which includes effectively following and adhering to applicable Wells Fargo policies and procedures, appropriately fulfilling risk and compliance obligations, timely and effective escalation and remediation of issues, and making sound risk decisions. There is emphasis on proactive monitoring, governance, risk identification and escalation, as well as making sound risk decisions commensurate with the business unit’s risk appetite and all risk and compliance program requirements.Required Qualifications:
7+ years of account management experience, sales experience, or a combination of both
Desired Qualifications:
Account relationship management experience
Experience consistently delivering strong sales performance
Comprehensive knowledge and understanding of negotiating: interest rates, price, terms, and collateral requirements
Comprehensive knowledge and understanding of risk management
Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
Comprehensive knowledge and understanding of commercial or specialty group: lending, loan servicing, products, and credit practices
Strong credit analysis skills
Strong organizational, multi tasking, and prioritizing skills
Ability to travel up to 75% of the time
