RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce Federal Staffing is currently seeking an experienced Data Center Engineer to work full time for our enterprise networking and cloud solutions client in Raleigh, North Carolina (NC).
Summary:
In this position, you will support mission essential application services used by both internal clients and external customers. With a broad background in IT software development, you bring experience and understanding of design, implementation, deployment, and operational support of enterprise applications deployed within private/public/hybrid AWS cloud environments.
REQUIREMENTS:
Required: AWS Certified Solutions Architect
Associate or AWS Certified Sysops Administrator
Professional or AWS Certified DevOps Engineer
Applied knowledge of Agile Methodologies, DevOps and tradition development methodologies with relevant experience in all phases of the Project Life Cycle
Deep understanding of AWS Core services such as EC2, S3, IAM, DynamoDB, CloudFormation, CloudWatch, etc.
Experience working with the AWS CI/CD tool suite
Infrastructure as Code experience, specifically working with Terraform

Development experience is a plus in the following technologies:
Python
Node.js
Docker
Lambda functions
Proficient in configuring, deploying, and auditing systems within AWS cloud, hybrid and on-prem computing environments
Ability to multi-task in a dynamic environment with changing priorities
Able to work in a team environment as well as independently
