Role: Big Data Engineer (Multiple roles) Location: New York/Raleigh Client: Hexaware Contract/Full-time JD: 10+ years of experience as a Data Engineer working on building performant data pipelines. Hands on experience with Big data tools like Spark, HDFS, Hive, Impala and Kudu. Highly skilled in Scala, Python, Java, Bash (at least one). Advanced working SQL knowledge and experience working with relational databases and query authoring (SQL) Exposure to public cloud platforms (Google Cloud Platform/Azure/AWS) is a major plus. Excellent attention to detail and communication/presentation skills Experience in working in Agile scrum methodology is a plus.
