Lead a team that acts as the central resource and driving force for the design, process, manufacturing, test, quality and marketing of product(s) as they move from conception to distribution. Organize interdepartmental activities ensuring completion of the project/product on schedule and within budget.As a member of the product development division, you will analyze and integrate external customer specifications. Suggest and justify product directions and specifications. Specify, design and implement moderate changes to existing software architecture. Build new products and development tools. Build and execute unit tests and unit test plans. Review integration and regression test plans created by QA. Communicate with QA and porting engineering to discuss major changes to functionality.Work is non-routine and very complex, involving the application of advanced technical/business skills in area of specialization. Leading contributor individually and as a team member, providing direction and mentoring to others. Teams with the vision to see better ways to build tomorrow, today.Product Marketing ManagerAs a Product Marketing Manager in the Oracle Construction and Engineering Global Business Unit, you will develop and execute global go-to-market strategies that connect our industry-leading products with their ideal customers, drive global marketing campaigns, and enable tactical and strategic selling. You will create differentiated positioning and messaging, and compelling content to support marketing and sales by working with customers, deep subject matter experts across the business unit, and key industry influencers.Product Marketing is a new and pivotal group within the business unit. It is truly the glue that binds product strategy to the tactics needed to drive success in sales and marketing and a key driver of business results. Our mission is to make it easy for the market to realize the unique value the Oracle Construction & Engineer Global Business Unit delivers. As an early team member, you will play an important role in evolving the group’s culture, its influence across the business unit, and Oracle’s impact on the global $11 trillion construction industry.We are building the team with two types of product markers. One focuses on the global success of a product or product line, working closely with product managers to bring new capabilities to market and ensure their long-term success. The other role focuses on a target audience, crafting solutions across the business unit’s product portfolio and working closely with industry groups and demand generation to drive pipeline and achieve revenue targets. These two roles work in tandem to define strategies, orchestrate cross-functional activities and drive internal and external communications.Key Responsibilities:Build and maintain market knowledge. Track industry trends, processes, challenges, and opportunities. Identify competitive solutions’ strengths and weaknesses.

Target and champion buyers. Define best fit target audiences, understand personas, their challenges, how they buy and their key buying criteria. Use market research data to influence product strategy, pricing and packaging.

Create simple, straightforward and differentiated positioning that resonates with our target buyer personas and sets our products apart from alternatives. Build and tell a compelling story across all internal and external, marketing and sales channels. Create thought leadership content and evangelize the solution.

Work closely with product management to understand product strategies and roadmaps. Plan new product/capability launches and drive the cross-functional implementation of those plans to achieve desired business outcomes.

Create go to market strategies, marketing plans and sales plays. Manage execution through marketing, solution consultants and sales enablement. Create supporting content, enablement tools, playbooks, customer facing positioning presentations, strategy and vision decks. Track and analyze results of all initiatives.

Work closely with industry marketing and regional teams to tailor positioning, messaging, collateral and programs for their unique challenges and markets.

Understand and support our sales enablement team; train them on the problems we solve for our buyers; develop ongoing sales tools that facilitate the selling process.

Support the marketing team to develop marketing plans, including key activities and budgets to support the retention of existing customers and the acquisition of new customers.

Assess the effectiveness of the marketing programs that support our products on an ongoing basis, and report back to the business on required changes.

Act as one of the primary thought leaders for our products, including speaking engagements and written works.

Requirements5 years of product marketing experience in B2B, SaaS industry

Construction application experience a plus

Experience performing market sizing and segmentation

Experience crafting differentiated messaging for products in competitive markets

Experience developing and leading product launch and broader GTM processes

Experience orchestrating marketing plans and programs

Experience enabling sales success with BDR teams and field sales teams

Solid proof of presentation, writing, and general communication skills

Excellent time management and organization skills with attention to detail

Self-starter with strong business acumen who truly wants to build something great

Bachelor’s Degree in business, marketing, or related field

MBA a plus
